ALCP,

Election 2008:

"Cannabis - not a crime"

alcp-logo

Kevin O'Connell, Auckland Central candidate, current ALCP president:

The War on Drugs is not only a failure, but a ripoff, lie and injustice - at the heart of what is wrong in the nz system, and globally...The ALCP stand for getting NZ out of the darkness of NZ's prohibition era - The true way forward is to minimise harms and criminality by liberalising cannabis law, regulating availability of the herb and respecting the adults right to decide.

R18 'controlled availability' of marijuana will be vastly better for our community than constantly living in the shadow of crime, gangs, and violence. As a massive bonus, cannabis-hemp can then be used for medicine, paper, textiles, packaging, bio-fuel, and nutrition from the seed.

Please spare us having to do this every 3 years (it costs our electorate candidates $300 a pop), by voting 'ALCP'!
