Greetings and Kia ora.
The Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party "R18-cottage industry" law reform impacts beneficially across the policy spectrum, in health, education, justice, law and order, race relations, economy and environment....
With sensible and rational and open, informed debate, the ALCP people are the new breed in New Zealand politics - real Kiwis, just like you, concerned abour society and environment and values. Unlike the other parties, we are interested in getting Nz, 'beyond prohibition'.- See our Intersectoral policy
If one in twenty Kiwi voters makes a conscience vote this election for some War on Drugs peace, the ALCP will make the black market a green one, reduce the need for police and prisons, and restoring good vibes to the community!
Cannabis criminalisation makes an absolute mockery of the 'civil society' and 'rule of law'. The law creates far more trouble than it prevents and harms a lot of people in the process. Its time for a level playing field and a fair go for ALL New Zealanders.
Whether you consume weed or not - NZ's current policy of total prohibition is costing all of us - the taxpayer, the community and environment. The prohibition is wrong and needs to be ditched, end of story.
With your support on polling day - the ALCP will do NZ a massive favour and 'legalise cannabis for recreational, spiritual, medicinal and industrial purposes, and institute a proper balance between the power of the state and the rights of the individual'.

ALCP philosophy:
"We believe adults have the right to freedom of choice unless that choice harms other people or our planet"
'Legalisation' does not necessarily mean a 'free for all'. It means
regulating and controlling drug use and bringing it within the
rule of law.
ALCP cannabis/
hemp policy provides for adult's
'grow your own' needs as well as prescribed cannabis medicines,
and will allow R18 cannabis commerce, but without promotional
aspects currently seen with alcohol. Our policy also makes
provision for 'expungement' of cannabis convictions.
