Join the ALCP or Renew Membership
The ALCP must maintain more than 500 members at all times to continue to exists as a political party.
By joining you are helping the party meet this requirement. You will meet other like minded individuals and gain valuable political experience by joining the ALCP. Contribute to a real election campaign and discover the opportunity to stand for New Zealand's Parliament as an ALCP candidate.
Membership lasts for three years. If you joined the ALCP more than three years ago you should renew your membership. All members have voting rights at ALCP AGMs. To join follow the three steps below.
Step 1 - Fill out membership form
Please print out this Membership Form so you can fill it out and sign it with a pen. The form cannot be filled out electronicly due to electoral law. Once completed, scan the form and email it to:

Step 2 - Membership Fee
All members are required by law to make a financial contribution to the party (minimum $2). However, your membership fee is unlikely to cover the costs of processing your membership and keeping you informed of party activities. Please also consider making an additional donation.
There are four ways to pay the membership fee:
- A) Make a deposit into ALCP's Kiwibank Account.
Make sure to include your name as a reference with the payment.

Step 3 - Activate website account
If you have not yet done so, Register a username and password to access the members area of this site. Once registered the Membership Secretary will upgrade your account to full member status. Members can view the public profiles of other members as well as send them private messages.
Your membership card will be sent to your postal address or emailed to you, if preferred.
