For me, The Aotearoa Legalize Cannabis Party is, a team unity making the effort to give constructive policies that will benefit the people of New Zealand and hence the promotion of the wonder drug cannabis is the fight worthy for the cause. Myself, I'm a pensioner who grew up with politics. I am educated with a degree in math physics, and I demonstrated physics laboratory under the great head of physics professor Sir Paul Callaghan supervision and Boss, I was student rep for math whilst at university. As for health, remember cannabis was the leading cure for cancer until it was stopped hence slow or no progress since 1930's I specialise in engineering as that's what I was good at... My proposal would be to remove the diesel tax off vehicles that can be driven with a normal driver's license, at the end of day, it's the weight that deals to the roads, so tax should be proportionate and yes electric vehicles should contribute because they use the road as well and should chip in too , The tradie driving their diesel Ute/van that drives on a standard driver's license to do work, shouldn't be taxed separately through the ridiculous and unfair diesel mile tax that haunts most laymen workers (then maybe also speedometer won't need to be turned back) more honesty in vehicle history will appear etc. Most importantly it is cannabis and its tens of thousands uses that should be acknowledged and addressed and I am part of the cause and New Zealanders should wake up and realize there is more than the national/labour syndrome on offer and yes, we prefer labour over national because national is ignorant and labour are more people orientated and people's livelihood is where it's at.
