We’re pleased to have Ruby Fusion playing music for us.

A Christchurch-based band with a strong live presence and original releases, Ruby Fusion bring experienced musicianship and great energy to the stage.

We’re grateful to have them as part of the lineup, sharing their sound and supporting the kaupapa through music.

They have an album up on YouTube — have a listen, check them out, and give their page a follow.

We acknowledge the late Michael Britnell.

Michael was a long-standing figure in cannabis law reform in Aotearoa, serving as Vice President of the Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party and contributing to the movement over many years.

Beyond cannabis advocacy, Michael was part of a wider generation of activists connected to peace, community, and social justice movements, standing alongside others working toward fairness, access, and change.

He worked closely alongside his wife, Irinka Britnell, sharing a commitment to advocacy, community voice, and public participation.

Michael’s contribution was steady, consistent, and grounded in values — the kind of work that builds movements over time. His legacy lives on through the people, spaces, and causes he supported.

We acknowledge his life, his service, and the impact he made.
