The Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party will work with any party that’s wanting change for the people to: end cannabis prohibition, promoting justice, reducing harm, and unlocking economic and ecological benefits through a regulated cannabis and hemp industry. This year’s theme echoes the powerful words of advocate Irinka Britnell: “Are we the last cab off the rank to get our human rights?” With a spotlight on medicinal cannabis education, the event explores how access and awareness are developing in Aotearoa — and how much further we need to go. Expect an energizing afternoon of live music, guest speakers, open kōrero, and educational resources in a safe and supportive space.
